The Future of Roads and Infrastructure virtual ‘live’

The Future of Roads and Infrastructure virtual ‘live’

The Future of Roads & Infrastructure will bring together key stakeholders to discuss the challenges of delivering next-generation transport networks optimized for a new era of technological innovation.

As we speed toward a future of connected, autonomous, electric vehicles and shared mobility solutions, it is increasingly apparent that current infrastructure is not suitably equipped to keep up with the changes ahead. Studies suggest that over US$900bn of investment is required annually in road infrastructure to meet current projected growth models, and substantially more will be needed to enhance road networks to fully realize the potential of a new age of transportation.

The Future of Roads & Infrastructure will enable key stakeholders to network and discuss the challenges that lie ahead: from disruptive charging solutions and the associated delivery of energy and its generation, to robust and secure connectivity for autonomous vehicles. The event will also examine the implementation of free-flow tolling and revenue capture in a non-ownership landscape, and explore how the use of AI and enhanced user-generated data can reduce or prevent congestion altogether.

With many governments implementing near-term targets for greener, more efficient electric transport, and car makers continuing to refine the safety technologies that will underpin full self-driving AVs, public- and private-sector investment in roads and the associated infrastructure technology is at a critical point. Join us to discover the latest solutions and alternative viewpoints that will shape the future of our roads.
